...Au congrs d'Ekaterinbourg, j'ai fait une prsentation portant sur la formation d'une communaut spirituelle : l o le temps et l'espace se rencontrent. (Building a Spiritual Community: Where Time and Space meet) Je vous fais part de quelques points que j'ai abords.

St. Petersburg Eurythmy Troupe
- Arie van Ameringen

...During the Ekaterinburg conference I gave a presentation entitled Building a Spiritual Community: Where Time and Space meet. Here are some of the points I touched on in my talk. (This research is ongoing and I shall develop it further on another occasion.)

During this conference the various aspects of the human being were explored in in the context of the question: how is who I am affected by the place I live and the time in which I live? Indeed, for each epoch human tasks are different. In this time of the consciousness soul the human "I" has taken on new strength and the forms long established by tradition must be transformed by the activity of the "I". Modern science has forgotten the human being's spiritual origin, and anthroposophy seeks to lead us to understand just this, that the human being is a spiritual entity. It is the "I" that creates its own karma through its suffering....Read full article, which includes Council Updates

Our 'Certificate of Continuance'

- Dorothy LeBaron, for the Council

Word-Cloud generated after the AGM World Caf

As announced at the May AGM and in the brochures you have received (Questions-and a Call to Action), the Council is continuing with the process of applying for a Certificate of Continuance. Our current by-laws have been reviewed by our lawyer, and we are currently reviewing the changes he has suggested in order to be compliant with the new law. Once we have completed this, we will post the changes on our website for members to look at, later this year.

Alongside the by-law revisions, we intend to review and update our statement of purpose. For this, we would like to have a process that invites member participation...Read full article

- by Robert McKay, with input from the Hesperus Members Group

On May 25, Robert McKay interviewed Renate Krause about her life in relation to anthroposophy.  Renate then shared the story verbally with a group of members at Hesperus and responded to questions.  Afterwards, we revised and edited the transcript.  Read the Interview here.

Note: The Hesperus members group has invited other members to follow Renate and tell their own stories - with interesting results!   -Ed.

I on the Threshold: Beware! Naming a conference theme!
It will manifest!

-
Regine Kurek and Dorothy Lebaron

...Our theme this year was the Foundation Stone Meditation (FSM) and its central relevance to our work. During the three and a half days of the main conference, we broke into smaller groups and found different ways towards new meaning in our relationship to this central meditation. For biographers, what stands out is:
♦  the three fold call to the human soul,
♦  the three twenty-one year cycles of developing body-soul-spirit, and
♦  the fourth part with its awakening to the WE, to our humanity.

RESEARCH CORNER
Widar and the Glory of Christ

- James Gillen

When we regard the nature of any spiritual being whom we sense plays a role in our spiritual history and evolution, we should be able to find evidence of this being through observing differentiations in those processes which our living thinking and selfrecognition
share with such spiritual history and evolution. We can then progress from reflections in the wake of being, to the presence of being, to the being itself.

By so fathoming the depths of Widar, we may come to perceive him as a spiritual being who supports us as the bearer of a transformation process in accord with worldbecoming - when this process itself
becomes revealed in us through selfobservant listening to the creative immanence of our youthful wholeness, and then, unveiled, is gradually integrated into union with the Glory which is Spirit (2 Cor 3:18)...
