November...it truly is a bittersweet time of the year. As I watch the last of the golden yellow leaves tumble across the front lawn, and look across the yard - where just a couple of weeks ago stood a mature and ripened crop of corn - the rich, dark brown soil is now belly up! I am in awe of this beautiful and blessed time of year. It is the pinnacle of the year for farmers, the beginning of preparation for the holiday season, and the transformation of the world around us preparing to slow down and in many areas, go to sleep!

Meanwhile, in the quarters of my second floor studio, I have several new paintings in the works. I am working on a few new inspirational pieces and also in progress are two with a rural American flavor - I am anxious to show and tell... stay tuned!!
