As I write this note, there is a curiously different presence about the house today. It is quiet and empty! It is the first day of school, the first day of college, and the first day of fall internship for my kids - and even my husband is off taking a computer class today : ) Surprisingly I feel a little estranged in my own happy home with the lack of the normal summer commotion and noise! Along with the beginning of a new school year, the trailer is back home from State Fair parked in the driveway, and the leaves are starting to turn - it is definitely September.
We would like to take this opportunity to THANK everyone who came out for the Art Crawl at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and also the great get-together at the MN State Fair. Although they were both HOT events, the friendship, smiles and re-acquaintances were all wonderful. If you were not able to attend these events, perhaps you can plan to attend our Open House Events coming up in November and December! Signing off with a cup of apple cider in one hand and a paint brush in the other! Shine on -
