It's August!
1
Dear Friends,
Bonnie-barn
You just have to love August!! Sweet corn, salsa-making, the county fairs and most exciting of all - the prelude to autumn! Still enjoying these beautiful days of summer, but my mind is starting to trail off to thoughts of pumpkin pie, apple cider and walking in the "crunch" of leaves. Perhaps it's the autumn harvest of the farm that I remember from my childhood, and continue to embrace today as well, that brings family and great food together celebrating this wonderful season that I love so much.

We also begin our journey into our busiest season of the year at Bonnie Mohr Studio. You will find lots of details in this month's newsletter about our upcoming calendar of events - we hope your travels will cross our path this fall. If you're unable to make any of these events, please keep in mind the Studio is always open M-F from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - stop by!

In between the chaos of "summer excitement" around our house and studio, I have been able to get to some new paintings finished. I will be heading to Minneapolis today to deliver new artwork that you will be able to see in the next few weeks!! One of the new paintings is "Peonies," which you are getting a preview of in this newsletter..... THANKS for your patience as I am striving to get some new things done for you : )

Thanks for reading - we appreciate your kind thoughts and comments!
We are just a phone call away if we can help with the perfect gift or if you have a great idea to share for a new painting!

Shine on -
Bonnie

When I was growing up, German Red Cabbage was always a favorite fall dish!  The homegrown cabbage from our garden was extra sweet and delicious.
This recipe may become a favorite of yours that you'll want to share
at your next fall gathering!

1/2 cup white tarragon vinegar
