It's Summertime!

By the time this newsletter reaches you, I will be enjoying a few lovely days in Pennsylvania - something on the order of a mini-vacation!I rode shotgun with one of our daughters, who will be starting a new job in Philadelphia!If you haven't done anything fun yet this summer, I encourage you to GET GOING - it's already JULY for Pete's sake....where does the time go? 

 

Bonnie Mohr Studio is beginning preparation for the fall show season. It is hard to believe, or even think about, but fall is just a few months away!Check out the dates and events in this newsletter - and we hope to see you at some of them soon!!

 

Due to "life," our new website is still "in progress" - so sorry, everyone : )But the good news is that it is looking EXTRAORDINARILY, SUPERGREAT - and I think you're all going to love it.....stay tuned - we are close to launching!

Our June Dairy Month photo contest, "Share your favorite dairy photo" was a hit! Thank you to all who participated! The response was tremendous and incredible, and choosing photos each week was extremely difficult for the judges!  We have received wonderful comments and emails about the beautiful and creative entries, and we have sure enjoyed looking through all of the great photos and are so happy to see all the support of the dairy industry! Here's to you, the dedicated farm families who make June Dairy month a real celebration for everyone!

MN Landscape Arboretum  3675 Arboretum Drive, Chaska MN
August 17 & 18, 2013 
10 am-4 pm Sat. & 12 pm-4 pm Sun.

A unique event set in the Arboretum's beautiful landscapes and gardens.  Exhibitors will be scattered in intimate clusters along the 3-mile drive. Guests are encouraged to take a stroll, or drive, through the beauty of nature and enjoy handcrafted items from local artists.
This is a new event for us and we're excited to spend 2 days at the Arboretum in their beautiful gardens!

Soon we will be getting things packed to go to the GREAT Minnesota get-together!  This will be our 13th year exhibiting.  We hope to see many of you there this year, look for us in our same spot in the Coliseum, just across from the Miracle of Birth Center.

This dessert will be a hit at your next summer gathering or reunion!

Blueberry Cream Cheese Dessert

Crust: Blueberry dessert
1 package graham crackers
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup sugar

Filling:
2 whipped topping (8 oz. each)
1 cup powdered sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
1 blueberry pie filling (21 oz. can)

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. 
Crust: Mix graham crackers, butter or margarine and sugar together and pat into the bottom of a baking pan.  Bake crust for 5 min.
Filling:  Combine one 8 oz. carton of whipped topping with the powdered sugar, and cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Blend with an electric mixer until smooth. Spread over cooled crust.  Top filling with the blueberry pie filling and then top the blueberry filling with the second 8 oz. carton of whipped topping. Chill in the refrigerator.
