Seriously, is it March - already! This is  

almost enough to make a person panic!! How is it that we just celebrated New Year's last week and now it is March :) Although I feel some progress has been made on my 2013 TO DO list, I'm a little aghast at everything I was hoping to have accomplished by this date and haven't gotten too yet. Well, as they say, "Keep your end gate up, and keep on going!"

 

I am busy in the studio developing some new artwork and dare I say "painfully" trying to reinvent my painting style! In last week's blog, I described my new course of action - to become more "painterly!" In the world of art, this means  

less is more. Placing looser strokes, and less of them, to accomplish the look and feel of realism in your work. All well wishes and prayers are being taken via email at this time ;) I forge onward - growing, developing and trying to paint new things, in new ways!

 

Plans for the Open House are coming together nicely - be sure to SAVE THE DATE and join us on April 27th at Bonnie Mohr Studio for lots of fun, great buys, and more delicious food from "Becky Bakes!" Also still in the works, a brand new website, coming your way just as quick as we can finish it up.  Think Spring!
