Chamber Gala a HIT! And what an event it was! The winners are ...
All expectations for a fun and exciting evening were met at Saturday's Gala at Alderbrook Resort. One of the most jaw dropping moments was when Jeromy Hicks announced a three-way tie for "Citizen of the Year" -- please congratulate Lynn Coffman, Cat Ross and Katie Hopkins, our Citizens of the Year!

Congratulations, Jeff and Dena Baker, owners of Local Wrench - our 2014 Business of the Year! (Below), Jeff takes a quick look at our photographer, Steve Zugschwerdt, who captured the moment perfectly...

Below, Leanne Sanchez, owner of Hood Canal Travel, is honored as our 2014 Member of the Year. Way to go, Leanne!

Below, this year's Chairman's Choice Award goes to Harmony Hill Retreat Center.  Founder Gretchen Schodde addressed the capacity crowd of 150 Chamber members and guests. Congratulations!

In our NEW category - Non-Profit Organization of the Year, the winner was .... Faith in Action. Board President Judy Mastick (below) accepts the award from Chamber Chair Darren Corliss.

Special thanks to everyone for a fabulous evening! Watch for our Chamber page in the March edition of the Kitsap Peninsula Business Journal for more photos ... and our website for a gallery coming soon.

The players at The Murder Mystery Playhouse are rehearsing a new show.  At the final dress rehearsal, the lights go out and a character dies onstage - only this murder wasn't in the script!  Detectives are quickly called, and soon the company finds themselves replaying the death scene. But when they get to the end of the scene, someone else ends up dead.

Join us February 20, 21, 27, 28 at 7pm, or 21, 28 at 2pm to see if you can solve the mystery.  Don't miss this Clue-like comedy with  a  surprise ending, and a different guilty cast member every night!
