Many thanks to those of you who were able to join us for our 25th annual Student Art Show and/or Grandparents & Special Friends Day this past week! We were glad to welcome so many visitors!
Click on any image to see more photos from that gallery. Here are some photos from the fabulous

Art Show - including some of art teacher Barbara Ward being honored for her 25 years at Swain; she will be retiring at the end of this school year so she was presented with an official "Swain" chair (her choice whether she paints it or not!).
Mrs. Ward and fellow art teacher Trisha Samuel presented all of our students' creative artwork in another wonderful show.
Jillian Zepp and Sheree Knerr also shared some photos of their Kindergarten students posing with their artwork. You can see them
here.

We're also glad to share photos from our wonderful Grandparents &
Special Friends Day program. All of our students participated - there was vocal music, instrumental music, movement
(as our Prekindergarten students demonstrated, left), and poetry. Many thanks to faculty members Bonnie McClintock Cohen, Eliza Rush, Caitlin Worrich, Stanley Moyer, and Marilyn Hazelton for supporting our students in these artistic pursuits.
Kelley Stout and Kaitlin Long took photos of

each of their Kindergarten students and their grandparents and special friends
(right) - enjoy all these happy faces
here.
We think you'll also enjoy this
short video made by the students in Glenda Akers and
Gloria Johnson's Prekindergarten class for their grandparents and special friends. See why they're special, what they do when the students are not around, what they do that is funny(!), and how much their grandchildren love them.
Speaking of videos, you may have heard how fabulous our Auction video was! Julia Getty, our yearbook coordinator and Wellness teacher, teamed up with drama teacher Lindsay Quinn to pump up the excitement of the Auction's "Live" items - utilizing the talents of our Swain students. Take a peek - we know you'll enjoy it!
