Prekindergarten friends, had a special visitor at this week's Fun Friday activity. To help celebrate the birthday of Theodor Geisel - aka "Dr. Seuss" - team members from Target brought along their pal, the Cat in the Hat. The Swain students enjoyed hearing Dr. Seuss books from the team members, and the Cat in the Hat had fun with his new friends!
Diving into research

In preparation for their research papers - which they will present at our Social Studies Fair on April 23 -
Mrs. Coverley's fifth grade students are diving into their Asian topics. They are learning to select appropriate sources of information, record and organize the data, and develop an outline to write their final draft. These are important skills to hone as they continue their educational journey.
