New name, same fun: Buddy Night!
Preschool and Prekindergarten students invited a special adult buddy to the newly renamed "Building with My Buddy" Night in October. It was a 'smashing' success!

Swain students - on the road
We're not sure what colorful 'aliens' have to do with corn mazes and hayrack rides, but maybe you could ask a second grader after you look through these photos from their field trip to Bear Rock Junction!
Fun fact: Swain students go on more than 80 field trips each school year!
Art class meets language class
Swain students are often challenged to know what class they're in - is it tech? art? social studies? language arts? Many times the curriculum overlaps among subjects.
Our Lower School Spanish teacher, Miss Parente, often uses art to share the history and culture of the many Spanish-speaking countries her students study. Enjoy these photos of her students creating masks inspired by the "Day of the Dead". Emily, left.
Mrs. Franzyshen's Photo Gallery...
Middle school math teacher - and field hockey coach - Mrs. Franzyshen often has her camera with her, and she has posted photos of her classes, their field trips (including this sixth grade canoeing trip), and field hockey in her gallery. Check out these shots of Swain middle school life!
