Happy weekend -
Here we are, with a special focus on one of our favorite activities - writing!
And don't forget to check our Facebook page, "News" section of our website, and/or our online photo gallery, "SmugMug" - many of the teachers have photos from these, and other activities, in their own galleries.

I am NOT a turkey!
With a tip of the hat to last week's Thanksgiving holiday (yes, it was just last week!) - we present the third graders' creative writing. "I am NOT a turkey" was their prompt ... see how they went to town with this cool idea! Click on the picture of Fitz, Trevor and Leon to see their creations. 7th Graders write, read their own books Taking the many skills they've learned about constructing creative stories, Mary Gruber's seventh grade English students wrote their own children's books. Hardbound and illustrated by the authors, the stories were then shared with younger students. The stories covered a wide range of interesting and imaginative subjects. Click on the photo of Dewi, Caroline and Elektra to see more pictures from Miss Ender's classroom. Welcoming professional author Sandra Feder
At this week's Lower School Town Meeting, students in Kindergarten - 5th grade had the privilege of meeting children's book author, Sandra Feder. She shared the writing process she used to create Daisy's Perfect Word, and the books that will follow in the Daisy series.
Mrs. Feder also did special sessions with Kindergarten - 3rd graders, playing with words that are fun to say!
