This actually happened to me [Heidi] last night: I got home from a prayer meeting late and listened to my voicemail. A girlfriend of mine had called and left a message with this question: "Heidi, what does Bill Koenig suggest is the spiritual cause of Hurricane Sandy?"
My answer to her, via return voicemail, was to read to her and briefly comment on just a couple of headlines off Bill's Web site:

Dr. Mark Hitchcock, who spoke twice during our conference regarding Bible prophecy, answered this question that weekend via interview: "Why should the church be more concerned today about the prophecy literature found in the Bible?"

Mark's answer, in part, is, "One of the reasons we need to be talking about prophecy today: It gives people hope. In the world we live in today there's a lot of discouragement, a lot of depression, a lot of uncertainty and fear, and the one thing that ultimately gives us hope is that Jesus Christ is coming back some day -- He's gonna rule and reign on this Earth."
Amen!
Hitchcock also addressed America in Bible prophecy. Could she be the "young lions," "Babylon," etc? The short answer is no in his opinion.
Other speakers this year included Dr. Erwin Lutzer, pastor of Moody Church in Chicago; and Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of the best-selling book, The Harbinger, which was also expounded on in a best-selling documentary, The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment.
Dr. Erwin Lutzer brought us glorious good news about Heaven and a further warning concerning a nation abandoning God.
Cahn gave a call to repentance, salvation, and a further warning to America. He left our attendees moved and even stunned. So many responded to the call for salvation that we could not count them all. Be very careful about coming against such men of God who just might be called for such a time as this.
