Good news! Our conference CDs are ready to ship (only the  audio version is ready at this time)! If you ordered them at the conference or in the last couple weeks since, you should be receiving them within the next couple of weeks. You who have ordered CDs more recently will be in the queue to get them in the near future! Our shipping department -- that would be Gail! -- can only work so fast, but she does a bang-up job, so please be patient! DVDs are still in production and we are still anticipating their being complete and ready to ship by mid-November.

Mark explores the question as to whether America could possibly sit on the sidelines as the world makes it's way down the road toward the Battle of Armageddon.  One of Dr. Erwin Lutzer's messages this year was actually entitled, One Minute After You Die, and was all about encouraging those who know Jesus Christ about the wonders of eternity and all that God has prepared for us. This is also the title of one of Dr. Lutzer's recently-published books, and Olive Tree Ministries is carrying it! This book opens a window on eternity with a simple and moving explanation of what the Bible teaches about death. There are also warnings contained in this book as the option other than Heaven is unthinkable. You need to know why if you have unbelieving loved ones.  Another new book we have in stock is a recently-published one of Dr. Ron Rhodes: The End Times in Chronological Order. "No one knows the day or the hour -- but you can know the order of events! God intends for you to understand His Word -- including end-time prophecies. The more you learn, the more you will come to love and trust the Scriptures and the God who inspired them." Ron joins Jan in mid-November on air to discuss this.
This coming Saturday, Jan and Eric Barger will spend half the  program conversing with Mike LeMay, host of Stand Up for the Truth, a daily Christian radio show; an expert on issues such as social justice, the Emergent Church movement, and religious syncretism; and the author of another new book carried by Olive Tree Ministries, The Suicide of American Christianity: Drinking the "Cool"-Aid of Secular Humanism. The back of the book says, "With a lack of strong, principled leaders, and with followers who want their ears tickled instead of being challenged to pursue righteousness, American Christianity is writing its own epitaph as it slowly dies. Do we have the courage to challenge our leaders and ourselves to reject our secular culture and its influences?" If you would like just one book that explores what has gone wrong in the church today, this is it. From social justice to the social gospel, from seeker-sensitive to Emergent, from Jim Wallis, to Brian McLaren, to Tony Campolo, nothing is kept hidden. This book names names and tells the inconvenient truth.
 Finally, and in light of the celebration of evil we witness at this time of year, we are offering Eric Barger's book, Entertaining Spirits Unaware, a resource concerning the occult -- in particular, the many ways our culture is being affected by its workings. Though sometimes subtly, occultism such as witchcraft and the New Age movement are undoubtedly infiltrating and often capturing the masses today.
