Ever since Penguin hit the SEO scene, a lot of site owners have been running scared of link building. And having seen the devastating effects that a Penguin penalty can have on a site it's no small wonder why! I've seen sites get hit and take more than a year to recover, if they recover at all. Back in the day, many websites were built in programs like Adobe Dreamweaver and then were published to a server to be hosted on the web.
