2014 Ubuntu Day of Service!
Don't forget! Register for the 2014 Ubuntu Day of Service! Register by October 1st so we can know how many to expect as our volunteer sites make final plans.
We have 114 people registered so far...could we get to 150? or 200? Invite a friend, or a group of friends, and make plans to participate in a great day of service!
Join us for our second UBUNTU Day of Service! We will spend a fun day volunteering on projects at Brooks-Howell Home, Bethlehem Center Charlotte, Bethlehem Center Winston-Salem, Pfeiffer University (Misenheimer Campus), and Bennett College (Greensboro)!

What: An Ubuntu Day of Service...Volunteering at National Mission Institutions in our conference.
What does UBUNTU mean? Humanity toward others / I am...because We are / Simply...human kindness.
When: Saturday, October 18, 2014; 9:00am to 3:00pm
Where: Bethlehem Center (Charlotte), Bethlehem Center (Winston-Salem), Brooks-Howell Home (Asheville), Pfeiffer University (Misenheimer), and Bennett College (Greensboro). See addresses & links to Google maps on the registration information page.
Why: United Methodist Women...turning faith, hope and love INTO ACTION on behalf of women, children and youth around the world!

Details: Be at your volunteer site at 9:00am. Bring your lunch (except at Pfeiffer University and Bennett College)...drinks will be provided. Hands-on mission items...check!
Registration: There is no registration fee. We just need you to register so that we can know how many people to expect at each volunteer site, and can make final plans for what we will be doing. Our registration deadline is October 1st. Thanks!
