Welcome to "The Back of the Net", the first edition of the Classics Eagles e-Newsletter, which will be published weekly in the Spring and Fall, and monthly in the Summer and Winter. The "Back of the Net" is all about helping you know more of the why, the purpose of the Classics Eagles, and how that purpose is taking shape in the players, through our coaches and the programs of the club. Each week this Spring you will hear from a different Classics Eagles' Director or key staff member about their roles and goals to achieve our mission.

In each edition, we will also highlight two "Players of the Week" and one "Coach of the Week". These players will be nominated by their coaches because of their hard work, efforts to grow their game, and by the way they live out The Classics Eagles Way for Players. We are asking parents to nominate coaches. Please see more information in The Coach of the Week article.

This e-newsletter is titled "The Back of the Net" because it is all about "finishing" our purpose in the lives of our players. It is our dream to help young players make their soccer dreams come true, and to partner with families in a player and family friendly culture. We want to see players maximize their potential as competitive and skillful players, and encourage them in the development of healthy and strong personal character. We will strive to continuously improve to meet these goals.

The word serve is an important word for us. We want our leaders to serve our stakeholders, and we want to help our players learn to serve in life by what is modeled and encouraged through soccer. I hope you and your player have a memorable spring full of fun and growth in soccer.
