Dear Members and Friends of Congregation Leyv Ha-Ir ~ Heart of the City,
Many of our members are busily making preparations for the upcoming High Holidays. This is a huge undertaking for our small congregation. We remain committed to opening our doors to all regardless of their ability to pay. But we cannot do this without your continued commitment and support. If you are a dues paying member, we ask that you give from your heart and please consider increasing your payment. If you attend services, please consider increasing your donation. During the next few days you will be receiving a membership renewal letter. If you have not made the commitment to become a member, please considering joining us. We are a warm and caring community and celebrate many times throughout the year. We are putting the finishing touches on our new calendar which will be available at High Holiday services. Exciting new classes and programs will be included. I hope to see everyone at our One Book, One Congregation bagels and books event on August 30th where we will be discussing "Waking Up White" by Debby Irving. Larry Finkelstein President
