It's Time for Spring Lawn Care
  
5 things you can do now ~ 
  1. Rake the grass to remove dead grass, leaves, or debris left from fall and winter. Be sure to rake the areas where snow lingered on the grass.  You may have snow mold, which the raking should alleviate.
  2. Mow.  Set the mower to the lowest setting.  This will remove a lot of the dead grass and open up the grass to let air, sunlight, moisture and fertilizer get down to the roots. This helps the soil warm up and get the grass growing. 
  3. Soil Activator - Adding Soil Activator, which contains humates, is a key step. This natural based soil conditioner feeds the micro-organisms in the soil, which makes the soil healthy, improves water penetration, unlocks soil nutrients to improve soil fertility, and enhances grass root development.  It will breakdown the dead thatch in the grass and turn it into organic matter for the soil.

  5. Water if we don't continue to get natural rain fall or if we get warm, sunny days and your lawn begins to dry out.

Spring Turn-On Service includes:
  • Turn on your main sprinkler water, check main and drain valves and backflow device for leaks.
  • Turn on each zone and walk-around to check for visible leaks and maladjusted sprinkler heads.
  • Minor sprinkler adjustment, such as nozzles spraying into a house or fence.
  • All labor during the first 30 minutes.
  • Any replacement parts provided and labor exceeding 30 minutes will be an additional charge.
