5 things you can do now ~ 
  1. Remove all dead foliage on perennials.  Discard any left over annuals.
  2. Cut foliage on perennial grasses to the ground.  Don't leave any dead foliage.
  3. Clean up any leaves left from fall on the lawn and in flower beds.
  4. Rake grass where snow has been piled or is long and laying down.
  5. Clean off any debris left from last year on the garden.
These simple tasks will really tidy up your yard.
