Join Us for an Evening with YOTH Yarns
Yoth Yarn

YOTH Yarns took the yarn community by storm a couple years ago, and have been a highly sought-after addition knitters' and crocheters' collections since then.

Veronika and her brother run the business, offering four yarns ranging from heavy lace/light fingering to worsted weight. PodcastVisitorsListen While You Knit or Crochet
It can be challenging to read while knitting or crocheting, so many of us listen to Podcasts or audiobooks while relaxing with our project.

Last month, we had a lovely visit from two local podcasters, Kim Hansen of Destined 2 Knit and Barbara Kluver of 2 Knit Lit Chicks.  Both podcasts are fun, informative, and unique.
Destined 2 Knit
Kim and Marcie explore and review local (and not so local) yarn shops and share tips about all things knitting.
Episode 14 features A Yarn Less Raveled, beginning at approximately 28 min into the podcast.
2 Knit Lit Chicks
Barb and Tracie share their love of knitting, crochet, yarn and reading.  Barb is a frequent shop visitor, and introduced Kim to our shop.

Our staff include a very talented, diverse group of knitters, crocheters, designers, and all-around yarn fanatics. We wanted to give you a peek into our knitting bags, and have chosen a few projects to share.

Lee
I'm knitting Wish I Might by Irish Girlie Knits, using Anzula Nebula.  I love this pattern as it is fun to see two colors come together with a hint of sparkle. It is lightweight with a combination of stockinette and a lovely lace border. Anzula yarn is a dream to knit with. It is a top 5 favorite of mine.

Pamela:
I have lots of project in process, but primarily I am working on a Hitchhiker scarf (Martina Behm) for a gift. I wanted to make my niece Tiffany something special, and she loves, loves, loves the Golden State Warriors. So, I am using the lovely LunaPurl self-striping sock yarn, especially dyed in the gold and blue colorway. Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm not really a fan of sock knitting, but I love sock yarn. I am putting 3 seed beads on the very tips of the "teeth", using blue, yellow and clear. It's so much fun! Beads, Martina Behm and Andrea's lovely yarn...who could ask for more?

Yvonne:
I am knitting Sandshore (Alicia Plummer) in Tahki Cotton Classic. This yarn has great stitch definition, and I love the sheen. What I love about this pattern is that I can try it on as I knit for a more custom fit.

Thank you for being a part of this very special community!

We look forward to sharing your fiber journeys and stories, as you practice the art of creating handmade items simply by using a skein of yarn, and two sticks or one hook.
