It's the start of the San Francisco Ballet's season again, and I'm always inspired by the colors, the synchronicity of movement and music, and the stories told through dance.  It reminds me, every year, how fiber enthusiasts like us synchronize color, fabric, stitch designs, and textures in our knitted or crocheted projects, and how these pieces can also prompt memories or connect to a story.

What is Your Inspiration?
Perhaps it's the shawl you knit because the colors reminded you of a day at the beach. Or it's the big, squishy cowl you crocheted during a cozy, relaxing ski trip with your friends (now that we finally have snow again). Or it's the baby blanket, lovingly hand-made for the newest addition to your expanding family.

Whatever the inspiration for your hand-crafted projects, I invite you to re-connect to the story, to your unique reason for choosing that project, combining those colors, textures and patterns.  Enjoy every stitch...

Let's begin some new stories in February!
