December 31, 2014

It's the day when the members of ICCRC and LSUC need to complete their CPD requirements.

Don't wait until the last possible minute.

IMEDA offers a vast variety of CPD eligible video recordings and three live events held before the end of the year. To find out what is available, please click on Virtual conference and select the regulatory body you belong to.

You can sort the list by the number of CPD, by the date of validity of the recording.

Please note that the Reporting form for ICCRC states incorrectly that a recording must be watched within 90 days of conclusion of the event. The new CPD Regulation has a correct wording. You can always verify the validity of the recording on the ICCRC  website.

Watching recording
When you purchased a recording of a seminar or want to watch a recording of an event you attended, here is what you should do:

Log into your account at www.imeda.ca. Your username is your email address. If you receive an error message that you have either invalid username or password, you have two options:

If you are sure that your password is correct, try to log in again. But first close the browser and open it again. Type in www.imeda.ca and then enter the username and password again.

If it still does not work, you can ask the system to issue you a new password. With the new password, repeat the step above.

When you are logged in, go to My account, then click to My seminars. You will see a list of all recordings you purchased. Click on one of the links. It will take you to the recording page.

Each recording has its own specific password. It is NOT the same as your password to log in. The correct password is located directly above the recording window. Copy and paste it in the appropriate space and you are on your way to watch the recording.

You can pause, stop, maximize the screen of the recording.

And don't forget to claim your CPD hours by sending the appropriate reporting form directly to ICCRC.

You probably noticed that the new reporting form still states that you have to watch the recording within 90 days from conclusion of the event. This is incorrect. IMEDA has applied for extension of the validity of some recordings and the extended validity is shown on the website. If you are in doubt, you can verify the validity on ICCRC website.
