Undergraduate students presenting their research at an academic conference are eligible to apply for a $500 Undergraduate Travel Award to go toward their travel.  Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis. 



Spring Undergraduate Research Award Winners Announced  
 

Fifty-one students will receive Undergraduate Research Awards for the Spring 2015 semester.  Students will each receive $1,000 to pursue their research or creative projects.   Congratulations to all of the students and their mentors! 


Applications for UGRAs for the Summer and Fall 2015 semesters will be due on March 26.  Read more about the application process here...

Save the Date: Undergraduate Research Symposium

April 25, 2015  

Mark your calendars for this year's Undergraduate Research Symposium on Saturday, April 25.  Undergraduate students from departments across campus will present their research and creative projects at this campus-wide celebration of undergraduate research.   

 

Instructors: interested in encouraging your students to attend the Symposium?  Consider offering extra credit for attendance.  We'll document student attendance and email you a list of student names.    



 
Have a Research Ambassador
come speak to your class!
 
Are you teaching a class and want to make sure that your students know about the research opportunities here at KU?  Invite one of KU's Research Ambassadors or a staff member with the Center to your class to share their experience with undergraduate research and some of the opportunities available through the Center for Undergraduate Research.
