Call for Applications: Graduate Research Consultant Program

This spring, the Center for Undergraduate Research will be rolling out a new program designed to support instructors interested in incorporating research and creative projects into their classes. Based on a highly successful program at the University of North Carolina, the Graduate Research Consultant (GRC) program at KU provides financial support ($500) to a graduate student or postdoctoral researcher who works with a particular course to help design a research project, mentor students, and evaluate student learning.  Instructor/ GRC pairs from all disciplines, and for all KU courses, are eligible to apply.

  • Information Session: Questions about the Graduate Research Consultant Program? Join us on Friday, October 25th at 2:00 in the Pine Room of the Kansas Union for an informal Q & A about the Graduate Research Consultant program.  No RSVP is required.
  • Deadline: All applications must be received by 5 pm on Friday, November 8, 2013 to be considered for funding during the Spring 2014 semester.
