SPOTLIGHT
Senior Honored as Volunteer of the Month at Youth Challenge

Who: Sarah Reardon '15

What:  Sarah, a senior, was named Volunteer of the Month recently for Youth Challenge.

Fun Facts: Youth Challenge, based in Westlake, brings together about 160 children with physical disabilities and youth volunteers who enrich each other's lives through one-on-one participation in adapted sports and recreational activities.

"The most rewarding thing about volunteering at Youth Challenge is seeing the sense of accomplishment on the childrens' faces when they get something done. I love seeing the smiles and hearing the laughs from the participants. Also, YC is  a learning experience for me. Each participant has something to teach me each time.
YC has helped shape me into the person I am today. I love volunteering, and I wouldn't trade my days there for anything."

Congratulations, Sarah, for "serving the dear neighbor."
