Beth Oppenheimer and David Wagers
Elected to Boise School Board 

Boise, ID  - 09/06/2016 - Beth Oppenheimer and David Wagers were elected to the Boise School Board during the Trustee Election held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
 
Two seats were open on the seven-member Board of Trustees, each with a six-year term in office. The election results for each of the candidates are as follows:

Oppenheimer and Wagers will be sworn into office during the regular Boise School Board meeting on September 12, 2016.  Wagers ran as an incumbent on the Board, serving the remainder of a two-year term.

A total of 5,030 voters participated in the 2016 Trustee Election.  That represents 4.84% of the total number of registered voters in the Boise School District.  There are 103,864 registered voters in the Boise School District.  Click here for election results by polling location.
 
During the last Boise School Board election held on September 2, 2014, 6,196 voters participated in the election. That represented 6.30% of the total number of registered voters in the Boise School District. At that time, there were 98,319 registered voters in the Boise School District.
