Assistant Principal Appointment
Boise, ID -- (06/03/2016) -- Boise School District announces the following appointment, effective July 1, 2016.

Jeff Lamping- Half-Time Assistant Principal, Frank Church High School and Half-Time Special Education Teacher
 
Jeff Lamping began teaching in 1999 as a special education teacher and assistant football and basketball coach (1999 to 2004, Las Vegas, NV and Meridian High School, Meridian, ID).  Mr. Lamping also worked as Principal/Assistant Principal in Boise School District's Alternative Summer School program (2013 to present), Boise Evening School Assistant Principal (2013 to present) and he currently serves as Special Education Teacher, Borah High (2005 to present) and Special Education Department Chair, Borah High School (2013-14).

Mr. Lamping is a strong educational leader, possessing clear instructional vision and is able to work collaboratively with students, staff and community.  He is committed to establishing a positive educational environment using best practice research-based techniques for all learners. Jeff is dedicated to guiding and supporting education professionals throughout the school building. Mr. Lamping has extensive experience successfully working with at-risk youth in the District's Evening School program and Alternative Summer School program.  

In his new position, Mr. Lamping will serve as half-time Assistant Principal and half-time Special Education teacher at Frank Church High School/BASE program (Boise Alternative to Suspension & Expulsion).

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from University of Nevada Las Vegas, Masters Degree in Education from Grand Canyon University and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho.
