FREE MEALS SERVED AT QUALIFYING SCHOOLS AS PART OF COMMUNITY ELIGIBILITY PROGRAM
Boise, ID - 08/01/2014 - Boise School District provides healthy meals for breakfast and lunch at all District Schools. Breakfast and lunch are provided at no cost at several schools in the District as part of the USDA Community Eligibility Program. No application is required for students attending the following elementary schools: Garfield, Grace Jordan, Hawthorne, Hillcrest, Horizon, Jefferson, Koelsch, Morley Nelson, Mountain View, Owyhee, Whitney, Whittier and William Howard Taft and the following secondary schools: Frank Church, Marian Pritchett School and the STEP and ASCENT Programs. Additionally, Lowell Elementary School provides breakfast at no cost as part of the USDA Provision 2 Program. Eligibility information may be shared with education, health, and nutrition programs to help them evaluate, fund, or determine benefits for their programs, auditors for the program reviews, and law enforcement officials to help them look into violations of program rules.
