Boise, ID  -- 07/15/2014 --  Boise School District is pleased to announce the following principal appointment, effective the beginning of the 2014-15 school year:

Heather Scott, Principal, Valley View Elementary 

Heather graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Oregon in 1994.  She received her Masters Degree in Administration in 2003 from the University of Idaho.

Heather began teaching in 1999 as a biology and chemistry teacher at Timberline High School and at Borah High School from 2002-2007.  In 2007 she started her administrative career in the Boise District and has served in a number of administrative positions.  Heather has been active in our AVID and ELL programs, served on various district committees and has done some instructional training.  She is a talented administrator who brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to her new position as Principal at Valley View Elementary School.
