DIY BATH SALTS & SCRUBS:  Just in time for Mother's Day! Bath salts & scrubs will make a perfect gift, a way for you to treat yourself to a fun night out, or an enriching experience learning how to create your own bath products. In this 3-hour workshop, you will blend ingredients and scents to make products that will be loved- and lathered- by everyone. Walk away with incredibly soft hands and two amazing jars of goodness. A, B, C, & Ds OF MEDICARE:  Medicare can be confusing! This class will clarify the benefits and regulations surrounding Medicare, allowing students to maximize participation in this program. Click here for details and to register. 

CROCKPOT NEW ORLEANS RED BEANS  In New Orleans, beans are slow cooked on Mondays because it's laundry day. Learn how to make the authentic version of this delicious New Orleans tradition, but adapted to a crockpot! All of the ingredients are readily available locally and once you taste the real thing you will probably want to make it once a week just like they do in "The Big Easy". ESTATE PLANNING 101:  Estate planning is critical for all families! Join a local estate planning attorney to learn the top ten mistakes families often make and how to avoid them. DIABETES II PREVENTION:  Join a YMCA Life Style Coach to learn how to meet your weight loss and physical activity goals and prevent Type II Diabetes.  Click here for details and to register. 

HEALTHCARE ETHICS IN THE HEADLINES: WHAT YOU CAN LEARN:  From Karen Anne Quinlan in the Seventies to the tragic stories of young women being diagnosed with brain death a few months ago, these are stories that shape how we view our rights as a patient. This course will help participants reflect on these stories by learning how to look at them through the lens of modern ethical thinking. Led by Alex Chamberlain, Coordinator of Clinical Ethics at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, we will come away with responses to questions such as: When is someone dead? Who gets to decide what treatment a patient receives? and How can I prepare for a healthcare crisis in my family?  Click here for details and to register. 

NORTHERN ITALIAN LASAGNA:  Learn to make an authentic Northern Italian Lasagna Bolognese. This fantastically rich lasagna features a beef stock based meat sauce and omits the ricotta altogether  and replaces it with creamy b�chamel sauce. MICROSOFT WORD 2010: BEGINNING:  Essential job skills! This introductory class for beginners will cover the MS Word screen details, basic operations, creating/saving/reopening a file, fonts and tabs.    Class is for PCs not MACs. Click here for details and to register. 

ADDRESSING SHOULDER PAIN:  Learn how to assess and manage chronic and acute shoulder pain with exercise and posture awareness. Discussion includes what non-surgical treatment options are available. Click here for details and to register. 

CLUTTER-FREE LIVING:  Are the clutter culprits turning your palace into a pigsty? This class will show you how to eliminate the clutter culprits, organize your home so that everything has a home regardless of storage issues and set-up a routine that keeps future clutter at bay. DIY MOSAIC PICTURE FRAME: In this class, you will learn from an amazing local mosaic tile expert how to make a picture frame with this beautiful and unique medium. All materials provided, but dress for a mess. Click here for details and to register.
 
FOAM ROLLING TO INCREASE MOBILITY:  Foam Rolling is an excellent way to ease body aches and pains from exercise and life, as well as improving mobility. Learn how to use a foam roller to target areas of body pain and relax the muscles to ease pain. This is great for stay-at-home moms with back aches from hurdling kids, to office workers stuck at a computer all day, to Olympic athletes.  Click here for details and to register. 

CRITIQUE YOUR CREATION:  This class will focus on one's creative imagination in the field of writing that will provide writers helpful, positive and inspiring critiquing advice. You will be able to share your story, characters and plot in a group setting, while getting tips on how to be a better writer. Learn how to drop the "he said, she said" in your dialog, and give your story all the elements it needs to be a great short story, or novel.  Click here for details and to register. 

BASIC ACCOUNTING:  Join a CPA to learn the basics of accounting principles including: cash, accounts receivable and payable, inventories, fixed assets, depreciation and notes payable. There will be a demonstration of how these basic accounting principles integrate with Quickbooks, but this is not a hands-on Quickbooks class. BEGINNING TRIATHLON:  In this introductory class, you will learn the basics of triathlon so that you can feel confident and prepared for your first (or even fifth) race.
