Celebrating Our Teachers With Love
May 4th - 8th, 2015

"A TEACHER takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart."

Teacher Appreciation Week
May 4 - 8, 2015

MCS has amazing teachers who love and pour themselves daily into the lives of their students. They deserve some appreciation and gratitude because MCS TEACHERS ARE AWESOME! Homeroom moms will email information to all families about simple ways the students can show their teachers just how much they love and appreciate them.

One of the most important ways we can support our teachers is to pray for them! We encourage you to be praying for our teachers. Be on the lookout for more information from room moms about how to practically show the teachers appreciation during a week set aside to show them they are loved!

let us be thankful
and please God
by worshiping
Him
with holy fear
and awe."

Do You Know the Layers of the Rainforest?
...Ask A TK Student

At the culmination of the Rainforest unit, TK students enjoyed a
special "Safari Day" where they learned about God's unique animals
in the rainforest.  They started their day entering through a safari
tunnel and enjoyed dragon fruit and star fruit snacks.
It's fun to learn in TK.

Helicopter Golf Ball Drop
To Benefit the MCS Tuition Scholarship Program

Scholarship Golf Balls

Dear MCS Families,

It's time again for our annual HELICOPTER GOLF BALL DROP. This year's drop will take place on the morning of Friday, May 29th. All proceeds from the drop will benefit the MCS TUITION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. As with last year's event, we'll have class prizes and raffles so everyone has a chance to win something. Last year, over 3,000 golf balls were dropped on our field and we'd like to see an even bigger number this year. Thanks for doing your part to support financial aid and we'll all look forward to another fun event at the end of this month.

Sincerely,

Todd Perkins
Interim Head of School
