MCS Middle School Presents... |
 | May 15-17, 2014 | Save the date for this toe tapping, hilarious, sweet musical that will entertain you from beginning to end. BYE BYE BIRDIE is one of the most captivating and family friendly musical shows of our time. It is a satire on American society, set in 1958, and is inspired by the phenomenon of popular singer Elvis Presley and his draft notice into the Army in 1957. Like Elvis, rock star Conrad Birdie is the biggest thing to top the charts. Women love him, men want to be him and teenage girls around the country scream with glee at the mere mention of his name. But when the United States Army drafts Birdie, a publicity stunt is hatched that will send the teenagers in Sweet Apple, Ohio into a fenzy that the parents never see coming! |
MCSMS Jazz Band
| Our very own MS Jazz Band recently performed at the MS Grandparents Day. Our Jazz band is composed of middle school students playing instruments they learned at MCS and outside of MCS. Our grandparents were treated to the musical musings of such jazz standards as 'Heard It Through the Grapevine' and 'Rock Around the Clock'. See our calendar for upcoming concerts to enjoy this toe tapping ensemble. |
