SNEAK "PEEC": KTA SPRING HIKING WEEKEND
KTA will be hosting its Spring Meeting and Hiking Weekend at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Dingman's Ferry, Pike County, PA, this April. Local hikes will be guided by the Pocono Outdoor Club. Lodging options include cozy cabins, yurts, tenting, and lodges. SUPER HIKE REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 1ST
KTA's 5th Annual Susquehanna Super Hike and Ultra Trail Run will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Lancaster/ York counties, PA. Registration (for both volunteers and participants) will open on February 1, and will again be capped this year at 500 participants and 100 volunteers. We had to turn away over 75 people last year, so please register early if you plan to join us on September 7!

AROUND THE CLUBS
The Appalachian Mountain Club has launched this website, which highlights some of the special places in Pennsylvania which should be protected from drilling, including Rock Run and the Old Loggers Path.
