New Employees Join the Council

New Marketing and Media Manager

We would like to introduce you to Julie Gardner, our new Marketing and Media Manager for Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. Julie will be managing all elements of marketing, communications, public relations, social media and media relations for the council.

Julie was previously with the Eastern Washington University-Idaho Child Welfare Research and Training Center where she worked on programs and campaigns to recruit
foster and adoptive families. While Julie has an extensive background managing and implementing communications, marketing, recruitment and media activities, her passion is working with children
and families. As a Girl Scout Mom, Julie has been involved in her step-daughter's South Hill troop
for the last two years. Julie's biggest success has been surviving her first Girl Scout over nighter at
the council's hostel where her step-daughter presented her with the 'awesome girl scout mom'
badge afterwards.

Do you have any news or photos you would like to share?
Please contact Julie at
jgardner@gsewni.org or call (509) 747-8091 ext 205.
