Mara comes to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho with a background in event planning, program administration, project management, and fundraising, making her a great fit for our growing region. Based in Walla Walla, Mara has worked at Whitman College planning major events for the President's Office, as well as overseeing volunteers and content for a major art festival in New York City. Previously, she volunteered with the Girl Scouts of Southwest Colorado and is especially excited to join our GSEWNI council this month so that she can help support troops during cookie season.
