Comparing the risks of complications after living donor and deceased donor liver transplants

 Authors of a recent study published in the American Journal of Transplantation used data from the Adult-to-Adult Living Donor Liver Study (A2ALL) to compare the likelihood of complications following living donor and deceased donor liver transplants.
Emotional and Financial Experiences of Kidney Donors over the past 50 Years

Most kidney donors view their experience positively, but some donors experience negative outcomes related to donation. Researchers from the Renal and Lung Living Donors Evaluation Study (RELIVE) recently published findings in the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology that examine the factors that shape these outcomes for living kidney donors.
