Arbor Research to collaborate on United States Renal Data System contract

Dr. Robinson of Arbor Research will be the co-Deputy PI

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is proud to be a part of a collaborative effort to serve as the coordinating center for the United States Renal Data System (USRDS). The USRDS, awarded to a team led by the University of Michigan Kidney Epidemiology and Cost Center (UM-KECC), is a national data system that collects, analyzes, and distributes information about end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in the United States.

Arbor Research brings extensive experience in conducting research using Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) claims data and web-based reporting of renal data. Selected data from Arbor Research's Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study (DOPPS) will also be used as a source of nationally representative and highly detailed clinical and patient-reported data, as well as international comparisons. Building on a lengthy record of peer-reviewed publications, Arbor Research will contribute to the USRDS annual report, as well as contributing original research for new publications.

Data Coordinating Centers Update

Arbor Research brings considerable expertise to large multi-center research consortiums by serving as the Data Coordinating Center (DCC) for several large studies. Arbor Research DCCs consist of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, biostatisticians, project managers, analysts, clinical monitors, project support personnel, and medical editors. Together, they form a project management nexus that allows busy investigators separated by miles and time zones to collaboratively pursue clinical research excellence. DCCs represent an important area of growth at Arbor Research, and our portfolio is growing. Click below to learn more about some of our projects.
