Traffic Jams of the Future? Lecture Addresses Future Roadway Needs
null
With populations around the world growing rapidly, the international spotlight is on transportation and how to accommodate the increasing mobility needs of the masses. This challenge is exactly what Dr. Michael Knodler will be discussing during his presentation "Future Roadways: Technology, Traffic & Personal Mobility." Dr. Knodler is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he has been part of the faculty for nearly ten years. Dr. Knodler's lecture will focus on the future of roadways and traffic patterns both in the near and distant future. His talk will give insight into the ways in which future residents of megacities will navigate the urban landscape.
