Our greenhouses are still receiving daily deliveries of new plants each week.  If you're looking to brighten up the patio, we have some beautiful hanging baskets and large planters available that will bring instant color and beauty to any area.  We also still have a great selection of 4.5" premium annuals at both locations. 

 

Though we will continue to carry a wide selection of annuals, herbs, and hanging baskets into July, the month of June brings many new perennials and shrubs to our greenhouses.  From Achillea to Veronica, we currently have an excellent selection of full sun to full shade perennials in-stock.  Whether you have a hole in the garden or looking to start a new perennial bed, we have the plants and knowledge to help you find the perennials right for you. 
 

Later in the season, your annuals may start showing signs of nutrient deficiency.  Even if you began with healthy plants and fresh soil, the finite amount of nutrients in your containers and the ground can get used up during the season.  With the excessive amounts of rain we've been receiving in the area, those nutrients are likely leaching out faster than normal.  We recommend fertilizing your annuals every 7-14 days with a bloom booster.  We carry Jack's Classic Bloom Booster, which we use on all of our annuals at home and at our stores.  It genuinely makes a huge impact on the health and vigor of annuals and (along with deadheading) keeps them looking great all season.  A bloom booster can also be used on flowering perennials for increased bud formation.

 

Along with Bloom Booster, we also highly recommend the Jack's Classic Petunia feed for petunias, calibrachoa, verbena, and many other annuals.  The levels of acidity and iron in this particular fertilizer prevents the yellowing foliage and legginess often associated with these annuals later in the season.
