Did you know?

February 2013

Every month at CU*Answers . . . holds new information to be aware of and has something noteworthy to remember.  Did you know?  That's our purpose behind publishing this short, informative newsletter. Here are a few things we think you'll want to know.

It's Me 247 OBC Color Selector Tool

Use the It's Me 247 OBC Color Selector Tool to find the perfect color match so your It's Me 247 online banking login page coordinates with your credit union website!

Color isn't the only way you can customize your login page. You can also add a link to your credit union website or update a link so it still works in case you've recently changed any of your website URLs.

You can even leverage the power of social media and add a link to your credit union Twitter account or Facebook page!

To request customization of your online banking login page, simply fill out this form and fax it to our Client Services team at 616-285-7285.

Automated Management of Wrong Email Addresses

With the implementation of the 12.1 release, CU*BASE now saves you time by letting you know when an invalid email address is bounced back!

Save even more time and request assistance from Xtend, who can contact your members to get their correct email address and update it in CU*BASE. This will help you more quickly resolve wrong-email issues to ensure your members receive their eStatements, eNotices, and eAlerts (for those who get them via email). Contact Xtend today at [email protected]

Read the brochure for further details on this new time-saving feature!

Education Express: March

Our complimentary Education Express for March will cover Annual Disaster Recovery Test. Take advantage of this special educational class facilitated by Jim Lawrence.

This coming May, CU*Answers Recovery Team will mobilize at an off-site location and invest 60 hours in a comprehensive test of our Disaster Recovery Plan.  For the purpose of this class, we'll discuss what is included in this annual recovery test, how we perform the test, and how regular testing improves our readiness.  Then we'll turn the tables and talk about what this test means to your credit union and how you can benefit from testing your disaster plans.

Remember the Education Express segments are always free of charge.  Join us!

Register for Education Express March 26, 2013 @ 2:00 PM EST.

Web Chat

live help

Web Chat is an inexpensive way to expand hours for member service.  Xtend's focus is navigational support for online banking, enrollments in self-service options, and creating reliance on It's Me 247.  The perks include walking members through online lending apps (It's Me 247) and asking the member for a new sale EVERY chat.  Implement Web Chat today on your credit union website. Learn more by viewing this brochure or contacting [email protected].

FraudNet
On March 1, 2013 our client using EasyPay powered by Fiserv will begin receiving a new service called FraudNet.  This is a fraud-detection service that helps reduce fraudulent bill pay activity.  FraudNet will be providing training via web conference on 02/26, 02/28, 03/05, and 03/07. Please register for the session that best fits your schedule.
