Today is a Brand New Day!
|
Good morning Friend, Hope you are having a great beginning of the week. I pray for the people up in the Northeast part of this country, may they be out of harm ways. In a week the USA will have their election for the 45th President. Are you excited? Honestly I have to share with you that I am being challenged here by writing these past three weeks. By far this week is the most difficult one. And I know that if you are still reading is because you might be curious where it will end. I pray that you all are praying for the vote you will cast and that above all you can see through the Holy Spirit and cast a vote out of conviction from God. When we pray for a husband or a wife, we claim to pray to God. When we look for a job, we do claim to pray to God. When we are in bad health, we claim to pray to God. We listen to more than one doctor for opinions and we ultimately have to trust in God. The doctors don't save us, Jesus does. People don't give us a job, God opens the door. We don't find husbands or wives, God places them in our lives. We don't elect presidents, God assigns them. Our part as Christians is build disciples, disciples that are willing to revolutionize the country not with violence or terror but to walk in truth and love and live in righteousness and holiness. The warning is now as in any other time: there will be deceivers who will use the name of a god to make their move to deceive the flock of God. But rejoice we can recognize them, the Bible talks about them.
2 John 1:7-11 7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. 9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, 11 for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.
May Christ fill your heart with Joy today. God bless you, Julieta Reyes Flores |
