The Stories of Our Church

August 3, After Service

We want to capture as many stories as possible from people attending South Park Church. We will be filming very brief segments of anyone willing to share how, where, and what age you were when you accepted Christ. Pat Miller will be filming by the Welcome Center after both services, and the more people stop by the better we can tell the stories of our church!

Thirsty Prayer Meeting - August 7

You are invited to experience the presence of God through structured corporate prayer. Come join us for prayer and worship at "Thirsty" prayer meeting at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month.

Helping Outreach Partner

Car Needed - August 11-November 8th
Former Outreach partner, David & June Sparks, will be needing a car from Aug. 11th until Nov. 8th while visiting churches, family and friends. If anyone has a car that they can provide to them for that period of time, please contact the church office.

Guest Preacher August 10

Scot McKnight to preach at South Park Church on August 10!

Dr. McKnight is a recognized authority on the New Testament, early Christianity, and the historical Jesus. McKnight, author or editor of forty books, is the Professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary in Lombard, IL.

IREF Golf Outing

IREF 3rd Annual Golf Outing

Every member is a minister. That's why we gather for congregational meetings. This fall we'll hear what's planned for Adult, Youth, and Family & Children's ministries. The next stage of Breakthrough and dedication will be shared. Trustees and Elders will give vital updates. And together we will ask for God's leading and blessing.

Wonderland Wading Pool

Wonderland's Annual Wading Pool outing! - August 7, 6-7:30pm
We have rented the Park Ridge Park District Wading Pool just for you! All Kids, Kindergarten age & younger & their Parents. Join us at South Park Wading pool, 833 Talcott Ave for an evening of fun! Pick up a registration form in Wonderland.
