Listening Makes Me a Better Preacher

One of the most fruitful and rewarding parts of ministry has been preparing to preach with the help of a team. I believe that this collaboration has helped our entire church hear more clearly from God. We wrote an article about it, and Christianity Today published it in June's online edition of Leadership Journal. Here it is: http://www.christianitytoday.com/le/2014/june-online-only/people-powered-pulpit.html

Handiwork Sports and Art Camp

Register today for Handiwork Camp. Spots filling quickly!

Students entering 2nd - 6th grade can sign up for one of the following areas of interest: sports, hip hop, crafts, or drama. Students will learn from gifted coaches and helpers how to use their talents to the glory of God.  As we've done in the past, there will be a "Family Zone" for parents and younger children to build relationships with each other. The entire camp will gather each night for a time of learning from God's Word with special take-home value.

The camp is open to all children entering grades 2-6 in the 2014 school year. June 23 - 26, 6:30 - 8:00 pm. concluding with our Showcase at 6:30pm on Thursday, June 26 evening.

Visit southparkchurch.org/handiwork  for current enrollment numbers and to register.
