A Night of Thanksgiving

 A Night of Thanksgiving - Wednesday, November 27, 2013
7:00 - 8:30 p.m., Multi-Purpose Room and Room 317
For many, this is their favorite service of the year. Bring the family and your favorite pie to share. Those who gather are invited to share gratitude at an open mic. Please RSVP online or at the Welcome Center and indicate the room in which you would like to be seated.

SPC Family Online Community - Sundays Drop in to Fellowship Hall to learn how to use SPC Online Community. Get a username and password then upload your photos, add your spiritual gifts, update you contact info, etc. If you do 5 things with SPC Online Community, you will walk away with a SPC Mug, exclusively for those who do the training. 5 minutes is all it takes!!

 Women's Ministry Fall Gatherings

Join us for a time of intergenerational friendship and fellowship as we gather to share a meal. Dinners for six to eight women will be held in various host homes with the host providing the main dish and each guest bringing a part of the meal. This year we will be offering a home or two for mother/daughter(s) ages 6th grade and up.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child - November 18 - 24
From Nov. 18-24, shoe boxes packed with gifts can be dropped off South Park Church! From there, the shoe boxes are processed and transported to children in more than 100 countries using whatever transportation means necessary - trains, airplanes, boats, elephants, bikes and even dog sleds - to get the shoe boxes into the hands of needy children. Join us by dropping off your shoe box during one of the following times during the week of November 18: Monday - 9:30 - 11:30 am; Tuesday - 9:30 - 11:30 am, Wednesday - 9:30 - 11:30 am & 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday - 9:30 - 11:30 am & 6:00 - 8:00 pm; Friday - 9:30 - 11:30 am, Saturday - 9:00 am - Noon; Sunday - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Journey 2nd Hour Sunday School Class - Sunday 10:45am
What does wisdom mean to you? Does being at the top of Life's heap mean you have mastered it? Wisdom certainly helps you deal with people, make friends, succeed at work & career, seem successful but yet, it is much more than knowledge alone. It entails understanding God's definition of true wisdom and the resulting actions. This wisdom is counter to what the world applauds and values. Come and join us as we study the Book of Proverbs in our Adult Sunday School Class through the months of Oct. to Dec.

Youth Ministry Coat & Gloves Drive! October 27
On October 27th at Word we will be collecting coats and gloves that are in good condition for Lydia/Safe Families. For questions contact Jenn at jsydow@southparkchurch.org
Cardboard Maze Help -Wednesday October 30 7pm 
Our annual youth ministry cardboard maze will take place on Wednesday October 30th from 7-9 pm. All 6th-12th graders are invited to come. We also need extra volunteers! If you are an parent or adult interested in helping that night please contact Bob at banderson@southparkchurch.org
