Car Show
| |
SPC will be hosting another car show on September 8! Join us in the parking lot after church for food, fun and a lot of cars! Contact Bob Anderson at banderson@southparkchurch.org if you are bringing your car. There will be prizes for crowd favorites and goody bags for the first 100 cars.
Flyers for the car show are now available at the Welcome Center. We are asking for people to go to local car shows from now until the end of August and pass them out. Contact Bob Anderson at banderson@southparkchurch with any questions.

Congregational Meeting - Sunday, September 22, 4 p.m.
Every member is a minister. That's why we gather for congregational meetings. This fall we'll hear what's planned for Adult, Youth, and Family & Children's ministries. The next stage of Breakthrough and facility renovation will be shared. Trustees and Elders will give vital updates. And together we will ask for God's leading and blessing.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and have committed your life to following Him, you should consider publicly declaring this through believer's baptism. Adult Ministries

Adult Journey Class: Islam: Why the conflict? Sunday 10:45am, Fireside Room
This study starts on Sept. 15th and continuing until Sept. 29th. This 3 week study on the beliefs and understanding of the Muslim Religion will focus on the differences and similarities between Christianity and the viewpoints of the West vs. the Middle East including biases we may already exist on both sides and how Christians and Muslims view each other. The main goal is to establish a better understanding for us as Christians to witness to our Muslim friends.
 Fall Women's Bible Study - Thursdays starting September 19
Join us for our Fall Bible Study, True Woman 101...Divine Design by Mary Kassian and Nancy Leigh Demoss. This nine week study will help women discover, embrace, and delight in God's divine design and mission for their lives and reflect the beauty and heart of Jesus Christ to their world. Thursdays, September 19 - November 14, 9:30-11 a.m. or 7-8:30 p.m. Register at the Welcome Center, $15.
Faith and Fitness - Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m.
Join us for this low-impact fitness class for women. No need to sign up, simply show up in room 209! This summer we meet on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9 a.m.
 MOPS -Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m., beginning September 25
MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers) is currently accepting new registrations for the Fall! MOPS meets twice monthly on Wednesday mornings and provides, encouragement, support, fellowship (and breakfast) for moms and childcare for kids! Join the Spectrum group for a fun game of Bingo with white elephant wrapped gifts. Gather on Friday in Fellowship Hall.

Join the Spectrum group in Fellowship Hall for a fun night of camp songs. Bring a lawn chair to be comfortable by the indoor "fireside"

Youth and Children Ministries

Wonderland (Birth - Kindergarten) - Sundays, 9:15 & 10:45 a.m. 
These years are filled with a sense of newness and wonder. Each day is filled with one new discovery after another. We want to give little ones their first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each of them.
 Print to Meaning Bible Presentation - Sunday September 29 On Sunday, September 29, 2013, in the 9:15 am and 10:45 am Adult Worship Service, we will present all of the first graders at South Park Church a Bible so that you can begin to read it and learn about Jesus.
In order to participate in the Bible presentation ceremony, please complete our online Print to Meaning registration form by September 8, 2013. Parents and their first graders are also required to attend the Print to Meaning Milestone Class on Saturday, September 21, 2012, 10 - 11:30 am in order to participate. There is a $25/child registration fee. If you are unable to attend this class, please contact Pastor Kal at kotis@southparkchurch.org.
Leaders Meeting - Wednesdays September 4th
The youth ministry will be having a leaders meeting on Wednesday September 4th. If you are serving with us this fall, please join us in room 317 at 7 pm. If you are interested in serving with the youth ministry this fall, contact Bob Anderson at banderson@southparkchurch.org.
 Sunday Morning Leaders - Sunday, 9:15am
