Moving ahead into 2015
2014 was a very exciting and busy year for ASIC and we look forward to continuing this into 2015.

This year ASIC has already carried out accreditation visits in Singapore and later this month will also be travelling to Switzerland and India to complete several more.

As we mentioned in our last newsletter in December, many of our international institutions are looking to send their students to the UK for a 'Semester Abroad' experience and we would love to hear from you if you are able to take these students under the SVV.

WEBA Agents Workshops

ASIC Accredited Institutions get a 30% discount

WEBA invite a large selection of quality educational agents to each of their Agents Workshops and institutions attending these events have the opportunity to arrange a series of 20 minute "One to One" appointments together with the agents.

Also as an ASIC accredited institution you will have the opportunity to gain a 30% discount on the booking fee.

For more information please visit http://www.webaworld.com

ASIC have also offered membership of QISAN to our institutions for a small administration fee and this has proved to be very successful. QISAN has over 260 accredited and referenced education agents in over 70 countries that can source students and other educational activities for their institutions.

It is also our pleasure to appoint two new members of staff to ASIC, and their aim is to develop our social media activities and developing our marketing strategy, both in the UK and internationally.

ASIC Surgeries Continue into 2015

As every institution is unique and has individual needs, we believe it is important to provide bespoke advice and guidance to those we work with. In the last two years, many of our institutions have enjoyed the benefits of a tailored consultancy service during which they can visit the ASIC office to talk about specific issues relating to them.

We will be continuing these surgeries to our accredited institutions during 2015.

If you wish to make an appointment to speak to our Chairman or another senior member of staff, please get in touch with Florence Waniwa at flow@asic.org.uk. These surgeries are offered to our accredited institutions at no extra cost, as they are included in the annual accreditation fee.

Sincerely,

ASIC
