ASIC Nominated for International Award

It is with great pleasure to announce that ASIC has been nominated for an International Customer Delight Award.

The results of the winners will be announced at a major event in Dubai on 13th November 2014, which will be attended by our Chairman Mr Maurice Dimmock.

ASIC wish to take this opportunity to thank all who nominated us for this award. We take pride in providing an excellent service to our institutions at all stages of accreditation, including post accreditation. We will let you know the results as soon as they are announced.

Customer Feedback Results

As you are all aware, ASIC as part of its accreditation process, requires all institutions to complete a feedback form entitled 'College Evaluation of Inspections / Accreditation Process'. This enables ASIC to monitor the service that it provides and to help us highlight areas for improvement.

We have analysed the previous year's feedback forms and the results are very pleasing indeed, with 83% of institutions rating ASIC as 'Outstanding' in their overall view of the accreditation.

A more detailed report on the data will be circulated shortly.

We thank all our institutions for their support and honesty in completing these forms.

Recent ASIC Activity at International Workshops
Los Angeles, Zurich, Malaysia & London

International student recruitment is always a high priority and ASIC have been extremely busy during October visiting the WEBA workshops in both Los Angeles and Zurich which were extremely well attended by both institutions and agents.

ASIC will also be attending the WEBA workshops in Malaysia on 20th & 21st November and London on 1st & 2nd December 2014.

Don't forget as an ASIC accredited institution you will qualify for a 30% discount on these events. Details of which can be found opposite.
QISAN - Quality International Study Abroad Network
A benefit of ASIC accreditation

As an advantage of ASIC accreditation, your institution can benefit from free membership of QISAN. All an ASIC accredited institution needs to do is to complete the QISAN application form, pay a one off administration charge of 100.00 and send in a profile of the institution to the QISAN office.

This will enable QISAN to keep you updated with the full agent database and details of your institution will also be circulated to the member agents; you may opt out of this if you would prefer this not to happen. For further details please contact information@qisan.com

This service is proving extremely popular and is attracting a lot of interaction between agents and institutions.

ASIC Retain ISO9001

ASIC have recently had their annual ISO9001 audit following an inspection on Tuesday 21st October.

The auditors commented on the fact that ASIC have continued to demonstrate an absolute commitment to customer focus. Not only is there a commitment to the customer but all staff exhibit a commitment to the ISO9001 QMS that was implemented last year.

Again a big thank you to all our staff for their exemplary contribution to the work of ASIC.

ASIC Surgeries

As every institution is unique and has individual needs, we believe it is important to provide bespoke advice and guidance to those we work with. In the last two years, many of our institutions have enjoyed the benefits of a tailored consultancy service during which they can visit the ASIC office to talk about specific issues relating to them.

If you wish to make an appointment to speak to our Chairman or another senior member of staff, please get in touch with Florence Waniwa at flow@asic.org.uk. These surgeries are offered to our accredited institutions at no extra cost, as they are included in the annual accreditation fee.

Sincerely,

ASIC
