|
Since purchasing their first lodge in the early 1990's, founders Mike and Jeanne Reimer have succeeded in tailoring their adventures to be unique to any other in the region. The goal is to get guests in front of as much wildlife as possible, and with Churchill Wild being the only ones operating fly-in polar bear eco-lodges on the Hudson Bay coast, this is never difficult to achieve. Their professionally guided walking tours of the rugged Hudson Bay Coastline allow guests to safely come face-to-face with polar bears and their cozy lodges provide a haven of world-class service, accommodations and cuisine.

Churchill Wild belongs to the Magnificent 7 Luxury Lodges in Canada, a group of wilderness lodge owners, enthusiasts and environmental champions that support each other through shared marketing and cross-promotional initiatives. In addition, their Seal River Heritage Lodge has recently been selected as one of National Geographic's Unique Lodges of the World.

TIAC has been pleased to have Churchill Wild as a member since 1999. This innovative company has proven to be a pioneer in wildlife walking-tours and in Manitoba's growing adventure tourism market, an area where the industry has so much yet to offer. TIAC looks forward to working with Churchill Wild to further expand marketing opportunities and address access barriers (visa and borders policies) for incoming visitors.
