Finalists to be Announced September 9, 2015
Culminating as the grand finale of this year's Tourism Congress in Ottawa the gala evening for the Canadian Tourism Awards is not to be missed.

The Canadian Tourism Awards are presented annually by TIAC to recognize success, leadership and innovation in Canada's tourism industry, and to reward those people, places, organizations and events that have gone above and beyond to offer travellers superior tourism experiences in Canada.

Finalists for this year's categories will be announced Wednesday, September 9, 2015.

ELECTRONIC TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION (eTA) IN EFFECT 2016
Voluntary Enrollment Period Now Active

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is a new Canadian visa entry requirement for travellers from countries that currently do not need a visa for entry (US citizens excluded).

This new requirement is coming into effect March 16, 2016 so to avoid issues at Canadian borders, be sure to take advantage of the voluntary enrollment period underway and continuing to March 15, 2016.

TIAC is keeping in close contact with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and will continue to update members through our TIAC Talk newsletter and CIC marketing material posted to the TIAC website.
