PACE Stakeholder Working Groups Formed To Develop "PACE in a Box"

The process of developing what is being called "PACE in a Box" is under way. The effort centers on developing process and program templates that can be used to help municipalities, counties individually or in regional groupings to implement PACE programs. The hope is that by letting folks know across the state about the effort governments will wait to move ahead in shaping programs until the "PACE in a Box" becomes available. The more entities that work from the provided templates the more consistent programs will be, making energy and water industry participation easier, more efficient, and hopefully more profitable.

New Book Chronicles Texas Wind Ascent

Great Texas Wind Rush

The University of Texas Press has announced the release of "The Great Texas Wind Rush" authored by Kate Galbraith and Asher Price. Galbraith and Price tell the story of the development of the wind industry in Texas in a detailed and engaging way including personal reminiscences of pioneers in the business. Many of the pioneers were TREIA members and are still members today, and TREIA archives played a significant role in guiding the research behind the story.

Two events held in Austin put the authors in the public eye - a 2:00 p.m., August 8, KOOP 91.7 FM radio show, Shades of Green, and an in-store book reading and signing at BookPeople on August 10 at 4:00 p.m.
